“Prior to SAMBA, I belonged to the State of California's DMV Pull Notice Program, touted as a ‘Public Service Agency.’ List maintenance (adds and deletes) could only be done manually and had to be returned by mail to the DMV. They always received my additions but, conveniently, never received any employee deletions. Other than the initial driver report I received in the mail weeks after I'd enrolled a new employee, I never received updates. And, I could never talk to a live person at the DMV!
One day, out of the blue, someone from SAMBA called to sell me the FleetWatch service. Like most of us, I was too busy to even think about procedural changes and I tried to hurry off the phone. However, the more I listened, the better it sounded. I enrolled in the SAMBA Fleetwatch Program in 2007 and it has literally saved me. I now manage my driver's lists online with instant results. I receive email notifications when there is an ‘occurrence’ with an enrolled driver's records and they provide annual driver reports that satisfy the Federal Department of Transportation regulations. They also offer pre-employment background checks. If I have any questions at all, I can call them anytime and speak to a live person! I am going to an Unemployment Appeals hearing tomorrow and my SAMBA DMV Report is going to be a critical document in supporting the fact that a former employee had ample notification prior to the suspension of his/her drivers license (a requirement of the job). FleetWatch is an extremely valuable tool for me.” — Jan Sansom |
