Eunice City Employee Alleged Drunk Driving in City Truck

AUGUST 2011, Eunice City, Louisiana—A city employee has been fired after he was charged with driving a city truck while drunk.

Eunice Mayor Rusty Moody reported that Carl Vigers, 29, a part-time employee, was stopped by Eunice Police and charged charged with DWI 1st Offense, not having a license and for not using a seat belt. “He was driving a city truck when he was off duty and I am terminating him,” said Moody.
